Supporting Comfort, Mobility and Healing
Therapeutic laser uses selected wavelengths of light to support cellular activity and the body's natural healing response. It is noninvasive, does not require sedation for most patients and is generally well tolerated.

At Progressive Veterinary Care, laser therapy may be incorporated into an individualized plan for arthritis, postoperative recovery, wounds and selected soft-tissue injuries. It is not a replacement for diagnosis or other needed treatment; it is one additional tool that may help reduce discomfort and support recovery.
When laser therapy may be considered
- Arthritis, stiffness and reduced mobility
- Postoperative comfort and tissue recovery
- Wounds and selected skin injuries
- Muscle, tendon and other soft-tissue injuries
The number and frequency of treatments depend on the condition, the pet's response and the rest of the medical plan. Our team will explain what laser can realistically contribute and how progress will be evaluated.
